Boone Elementary School (formerly Orr) is southeast DC's newest elementary school. Replacing an outdated 1070's design, the new Boone offers a variety of open spaces complete with synthetic turf field and rubberized surface playgrounds. CGLA, working with CGS Architects and DCPS/DGS, has integrated local artists' sculptures into the overall design to add another layer of learning to the project.
