The Joy Evans Center is the District's only community center with a therapeutic mission, providing both physical and mental treatment to District citizens. Hearst Park, located in the Ward 3 area of the District, boasts a dozen 100-year old Willow Oak heritage trees, a high-school regulation natural grass soccer field, two new tennis/ pickleball courts and a new 25 yard pool and pool house.

Providing a safe and reliable recreation center for the Ward 3 community in Washington, D.C., the Jelleff Recreation Center project looks to build a new building and supporting site at the historic upper Georgetown location. Along with new playgrounds, splash pad, entry plaza and canopied parking area, the site will feature a 'net-zero' approach with overhead photovoltaic cells, geo-thermal wells and bio-retention areas.
Abandoned since the 1970s, Crummell is a historic African American School serving the Ivy City neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Now primed to be a major community center for the area, the new Crummell sitewill feature playcourts, playgrounds, walking trails, a community green, community garden, and a synthetic turf field.
The Miami Heritage Trail is a mile-long urban park being built underneath the new I-395 bridge. When completed, the park will reconnect the historic Overtown District back to the City Center and provide a rich public outdoor venue for residents including playgrounds, dog park, play courts, amphitheater, fountains and walking trails.

Occupying 560 scenic acres along the Patuxent River in Calvert County, Maryland, and boasting more than 65 identified archaeological sites, and 9,000 years of documented human occupation, Jefferson Patterson Park is a treasure in Maryland's park system. CGLA worked closely with the Park Department to renovate many features surrounding the Museum including the access road, parking, and adjacent landscape areas, ensuring that the historic fabric was respected and preserved.
