CGLA was the lead planning and landscape architecture design form for this exciting developer-lead competition for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's new Financial Bureau offices in Frankfort, KY. The design featured redeveloping four city blocks of desolate 1060's urban renewal-style plaza and office tower. The design focuses on turning the site inside-out, engaging the existing neighborhood fabric and embracing walkability and historic precedence.
CGLA designed a new acre-sized public plaza at Arlington's Pentagon City neighborhood. The plaza is situtaed 100% over a parking garage and connects seamlessly to an existing plaza to the south providing a strong pedestrian connection for pedestrians through the entire site.
For JBG companies, CGLA developed a new roof deck amentity space complete with terraced seating, ample seating opportunities, shade structure and an extensive green roof.
